This is a one session overview of keeping bees with brief presentations about time, commitment and financial considerations involved with the hobby. We will review the equipment necessary to establish your own hive and options for placement of hives at various locations. Seasonal management, pests and diseases of the hive as well as products of the hive will be discussed.
