This is a 6 week class with 5 weeks in the classroom and the 6th class outside in the hives (To be scheduled in the Spring). We will cover construction and placement of the hives, learning about bees and their needs throughout the seasons, protective clothing, installation of bees, bee diseases and treatments for each, swarming and products of the hive.
