We have one more nuc making workshop scheduled for July 4th, 2015. This is an excellent time to make a nuc with a new queen in order for them to build up and overwinter. Making a nuc now is a good way to prevent swarming, good method of mite control and allows you to make an increase. In this workshop Brian will discuss the different methods for making nucs and then (weather permitting) we will go into the apiary and make a nuc from one of our hives as well as a walkaway split.
In addition, we will also have Queens available that afternoon.

When we first started beekeeping we found that we had to travel over an hour to purchase our beekeeping supplies or pay really high shipping costs to order online. We decided to open a store to offer beekeepers in our area a convenient place to get their supplies. Save time and money - support local business.
