This is an excellent time to make a nuc with a new queen in order for them to build up and overwinter. Making a nuc now is a good way to prevent swarming, good method of mite control(Break the Brood) and allows you to make an increase as part of a sustainable apiary. In this workshop Brian will discuss the different methods for making nucs and (weather permitting) and he will make a split out in the apiary.
